About Us

Based in South Etobicoke, Lakeshore Arts provides free art activities for all ages, backgrounds, and demographics to enrich the lives of everyone we serve. Support from our fundraising events and efforts lets us provide quality, innovative, and accessible programs led by professional artists and creatives.

Our History

In 1993 The Lakeshore Arts committee was founded. In February 1997 we received Not-For-Profit Status, followed by Charitable Status in April 1999. In 2000 Lakeshore Arts became one of four LASOs (Local Art Service Organizations) under the amalgamation of the City of Toronto, and we hired our first employee.
